The i-SmartCare 10 by i-SENS is a sophisticated yet remarkably simple point-of-care blood gas analyser engineered for speed, reliability, and zero-maintenance operation. Using proprietary micro sensor technology with screen-printed electrodes, it measures 10 key parameters — including pH, pCO₂, pO₂, Na⁺, K⁺, Ca²⁺, Cl⁻, Glucose, Lactate, and Hct — from just 100µl of heparinised whole blood, delivering results in only 50 seconds. An additional 12 calculated parameters including HCO₃⁻, BE, tHb, sO₂, and pO₂(A-a) are automatically reported. Three flexible CarePak cartridge options (106, 108, 110) with volumes ranging from 50 to 300 tests per pack allow laboratories to right-size consumable usage to their testing needs. The all-in-one multi-test cartridge houses all reagents, sensors, calibration solutions, and fluidic components — eliminating routine maintenance entirely. The intelligent self-cleaning sample probe prevents carry-over between tests, while the built-in EEPROM chip ensures only valid cartridges are used. Running on Windows 10 IoT with a 9-inch touchscreen, built-in barcode scanner, thermal printer, and bidirectional LIS/HIS/EMR communication via HL7 and POCT1-A protocols, the i-SmartCare 10 is a complete and connected point-of-care solution for ICU, emergency, theatre, and ward settings.
