The LOCMEDT LOC-200 is a fully automatic bench-top biochemistry analyser that brings comprehensive clinical chemistry and electrolyte testing to small laboratories, clinics, and point-of-care settings with remarkable simplicity. Based on microfluidic disposable reagent disc technology, it requires just 100µl (3 drops) of lithium-heparinised whole blood, plasma, or serum to run up to 35 parameters across 8 specialised panels — covering general chemistry, liver function, renal function, electrolytes, cardiac enzymes, lipids, and clinical emergency profiles. The entire process is just 3 steps: add sample to the disc, insert the disc, and read the results in 8–12 minutes. No centrifuge, no calibration, and no reagent mixing are required, as dilution and mixing are performed automatically within the disc. The intelligent IQC system monitors the entire test process in real time, ensuring result reliability. With a 7-inch multi-language touchscreen, built-in thermal printer, WiFi and LIS connectivity, and storage for up to 500,000 results, the LOC-200 punches well above its weight class. At just 4.5kg and a compact footprint, it is ideal for facilities where space, simplicity, and speed matter most.
